Organizations win when employees are well. |
Contrary to popular belief among leaders, employee wellbeing plays a crucial role in achieving many important business outcomes. But to succeed with employee wellbeing, you first need to understand it. For starters, employee wellbeing has five separate elements that you have an effect on:
- Career — You like what you do every day.
- Social — You have meaningful friendships in your life.
- Financial — You manage your money well.
- Physical — You have energy to get things done.
- Community — You like where you live.
Learn about employee wellbeing and how to improve each of the five elements. |
|
When it comes to employee mental health, you don't need to have all the answers. Providing support when employees need it can be enough. Learn as much as possible about employee engagement and wellbeing and understand your employee assistance program — or at least know where to learn more about it. This way, when employees are in need, they know they can go to you for help.
See you next month,
